Sample Status

 

Folded Metal Intermediate Bulk Container (ton case). There is a plastic woven bag in the case. Inside the woven bag, there is a PE inner bag to hold the bob weight water. The case and plastic woven bag and PE inner bag are normal.

Test A: Compression - empty container machine compression

Test B: Compression - filled container machine compression

 

  1. Center an empty container on compression tester
  2. Start the test machine and bring the platens together at the rate of 0.5in per minute until it reaches 9000kg.

 

Result: The sample is not damaged

 

 

 

 

Test C: Compression-machine compression

 

  1. Center 2 containers on compression tester
  2. Start the test machine and bring the platens together at the rate of 0.5in per minute until it reaches 2000kg.

 

Result: The sample is not damaged

 

 

 

 

Test D: Random Vibration

 

  1. Vibration Test: Place a filled container on the vibration table so that Face 3 rests on the platform.
  2. Duration of test is 180 minutes at Grms level of 0.54.

 

Result: The sample is not damaged

 

 

 

 

Test E: Rotational Flat Drop Test

 

  1. Place filled container on a flat rigid surface.
  2. Free fall edges 3-5 & 3-6 on to a flat rigid surface.
  3. Height of drop is 6 inches.

 

Result: The sample is not damaged

 

 

 

 

Test F: Rotational Corner Flat Drop Test

 

  1. Place sample on flat rigid surface.
  2. Freefall corner 2-3-5 & 3-4-6 on to a flat rigid surface.
  3. Height of drop is 6 inches.

 

Result: The sample is not damaged
